What is Ranked Mode?
Ranked mode is the place for all players to play and compete against each other. You can play at any time and on any day. Players will be matched with others of the same skill level, regardless of their deck strength.
How do I climb the ranks?
To ascend the ranks and become a Mythic Mortal you must win Ranked matches. Each win will grant you Win Points, and progress you through your current rank!
Additionally Ranked match wins will also grant:
- Experience points
- Star points
- Flux (more information here: Gauntlet of the Gods)
Each Ranked match loss will give you:
- Experience points
- Loss points
You will see your Ranked Bar increase as you collect more wins, and you will notice your Ranked Shield Icon breaking as you lose. You can hover over either to see your exact Win/Loss Points breakdown.
Once you gain more than 100 Win Points you will advance to the next rank, congratulations! If however you reach 100 Loss Points first what happens will depend on how many Win Points you've earned. If you have passed the white Safety Line on the Ranked Bar, you will reset your Win Points to near the start of the Ranked Bar and are able to try to reach the next rank again. If you haven't passed the white Safety Line on the Ranked Bar, you are sent back to near the beginning of the previous rank and will need to climb once more.
The number of points you earn for each win, and for each loss will vary depending on a few factors such as your rank and your opponents rank. The higher your rank the more wins will be needed to advance to the next rank, and the fewer losses you can have before your Loss Points fill up.
What rewards can I earn by playing Ranked Matchmaking Mode?
There are a number of ways to earn rewards by playing in Ranked matches. Currently, the two distinct options within Ranked mode are:
- Daily Play & Earn ($GODS)
- Weekend Ranked (Core packs)
